当一位苦苦挣扎的音乐家搬回她儿时的家时，她发现了一段已故父亲的录音，他承认自己犯下了一桩可怕的谋杀案，声称是为了保护自己免受未知邪恶势力的侵害。起初音乐家对这段录音并不大在意，但随着她年幼的儿子表现出令人不安的行为后，这名音乐家也开始试图阻止这场邪恶势力的到来。
