“好莱坞最著名的诈骗案之一”——“好莱坞诈骗女王”案件宣布由Apple拍成纪录剧集。此事曾引发FBI和警方调查，和多家媒体、播客、影视作者的长期追查——2018年，媒体曝光有人伪造声音的方式骗钱，作案范围涉及全球，手段包括模仿多名美国影视媒体圈女高层的声音，如邓文迪、前索尼的艾米·帕斯卡尔、卢卡斯的凯瑟琳·肯尼迪、前二十世纪福斯的斯泰西·斯奈德、扎克·施奈德的妻子&制片搭档黛博拉·施奈德等，用录音去诈骗一些好莱坞影视从业人员，如化妆师、摄影师等，编造一些在印尼的电影项目，邀请他们去工作，随后提出必须先交钱付旅费，以骗取这笔钱财。而经过调查，作案者被认为可能并不是女子，而是男人，随后，作案者身份被锁定为在英国有关系的印度尼西亚男子HargobindPunjabiTahilramani，他有着长期此类行为。2020年12月，美国FBI和司法部宣布在曼彻斯特将Tahilramani逮捕。
